The process

Five steps from first call to first day

Most families do steps one and two the other way round — they visit first, then apply. Either is fine.

  1. 01

Get in touch or apply online

Fill in the online application form — it takes about ten minutes — or call the admissions office. You can also just turn up at the front office during working hours.

    About 10 minutes

    Start an application
  2. 02

    Visit the school

Come and walk the campus on an ordinary working day, with classes in session. You will meet the head of the section your child would join.

    Tuesday and Thursday mornings

    Book a campus tour
  3. 03

    Placement assessment or visit

Children applying for Basic 1 and above sit a short assessment in English and Mathematics — about forty-five minutes. Preschool applicants come in for an informal play visit instead.

    45 minutes, by appointment

  4. 04

    Offer and documents

You will have a written decision within a week. If we offer a place, bring the admission documents to the office and pay the admission fee and first term's fees to confirm it.

  5. 05

    Starting school

You will get a class allocation, the class teacher's name, the booklist and the uniform list. New children are paired with a settled classmate for their first fortnight.

Before you ask

The five questions we hear most

We admit at the start of any of the three terms, wherever a place exists, and occasionally mid-term for families relocating to Accra.

Most families start in September, at the beginning of Term 1. Places at the main entry points — Creche, KG 1, Basic 1 and Basic 7 — fill first, so apply early if you are aiming for one of those.
