Term 1 of the 2026/2027 academic year opens on Monday 8 September 2026. This notice covers reporting times, what to bring, uniform, and the fee deadline. Please read it in full — it answers most of what the office is asked in the first week.
Reporting times
Reporting is staggered so that the youngest children are not caught in the morning rush at the gate.
| Section | Report by | Closing on day one |
|---|---|---|
| Creche, Nursery 1–2, KG 1–2 | 8:00am | 12:30pm |
| Basic 1 – Basic 6 | 7:15am | 3:00pm |
| Basic 7 – Basic 9 | 7:00am | 3:00pm |
Preschool runs a shortened first day. From Tuesday 9 September the normal closing time of 3:00pm applies to every section.
New pupils
If your child is joining us this term, come to the front office first with your admission letter. You will be given the class allocation, the class teacher's name, and a name tag for the first week. Please allow an extra fifteen minutes.
Children joining Creche or Nursery follow the settling-in programme: short days that lengthen across the first week, and parents are welcome to stay for the first two mornings.
What to bring on the first day
- The completed health and emergency contact form, if it was not returned in July
- A water bottle, labelled with the child's name and class
- Exercise books and stationery from the booklist for the class
- For Creche and Nursery: two changes of clothes, nappies if still needed, and a labelled blanket
- For Basic 7–9: a scientific calculator and the mathematical set
Textbooks are issued in class during the first week. Do not buy them elsewhere until the class teacher has confirmed which are needed.
Uniform
Full uniform from day one. The school uniform, house vest and PE kit are available from the school shop, which is open from Monday 1 September, 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Hair should be neat and, for girls, tied back or plaited without extensions. Only plain studs are permitted. Sandals are for Fridays only.
Fees
Term 1 fees are due by Friday 18 September. Payment may be made by bank transfer, by Mobile Money on any of the three networks, or in person at the accounts window between 7:30am and 3:30pm.
Please always quote your child's full name and class as the payment reference, and collect a receipt. A transfer without a reference cannot be matched to a pupil account.
Families paying in instalments should see the bursar in the first week of term to agree the schedule in writing.
School bus
Routes 1 to 4 run as before. The bus list is posted at the gate on Friday 5 September. Expect a delay of about fifteen minutes on the first morning while the driver confirms pick-ups.
If you need to add or change a route, do it before the end of the first week — after that, changes take effect from the following month.
Questions
The front office is open from 7:00am to 4:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays. You can also reach us on WhatsApp, which is usually faster.
