The PTA
Every parent and guardian is automatically a member of the Parent–Teacher Association. There is no separate joining process and no committee to be elected to before you can speak.
The PTA meets once a term, on a Friday afternoon at 3:30pm in the assembly hall. Agendas circulate a week beforehand; minutes go up on the parent noticeboard and are summarised on this site.
Levy. GH₵ 150.00 per family per year, set by the PTA and voted on at the general meeting.
The appeal to double the size of the library has raised GH₵ 18,600 of its GH₵ 45,000 target. Donations of books are welcome too — particularly readers at Basic 1 to Basic 3 level and Ghanaian fiction for the Junior High.
